Welcome!

At Wellbeing Warrior, I bring a wealth of lived experience and knowledge to empower others in taking control of their own wellbeing. My journey began with a GNVQ in Health and Social Care, followed by qualifications as a Nutritional Therapist, and recently, an MSc in Mental Health focusing on the safety and efficacy of MDMA for treating PTSD in adults. With 25 years of self-taught nutrition expertise, I am dedicated to sharing practical, life-enhancing knowledge.

My coaching journey began almost a decade ago, inspired by my determination to turn my diverse skills into a force for good. My health challenges started in my early twenties, when I found myself battling undiagnosed issues such as IBS, anxiety, and depression for two decades. During this time, I developed a deep appreciation for natural remedies—like the tea tree essential oil that cleared my teenage skin—and the fresh, wholesome meals lovingly prepared by my mum (bless her soul). These experiences shaped my lifelong commitment to incorporating vibrant fruits, vegetables, proteins, herbs, and spices into my daily routine.

In 2010, while working night shifts at an IT company, I stumbled upon a course in Nutritional Therapy that changed the trajectory of my life. Shortly after completing the course, I realised that night shifts were wreaking havoc on my health. Around the same time, my mum had a minor heart attack and was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. She became my first client, and within months, we had successfully reversed her diagnosis to pre-diabetic. The joy of witnessing her transformation spurred me to launch my life coaching business and share my wealth of knowledge with the wider community.

In 2019, after years of dedication, I reached burnout and decided to take a step back. During lockdown, I heard a radio discussion about a woman in her fifties being diagnosed with ADHD through the NHS, which sparked deep reflection. I had always suspected I had ADHD but avoided seeking a diagnosis due to high private costs and an aversion to labels. What if my symptoms were linked to sudden hormonal changes?

Fast forward to January 2025—after a four-year NHS waiting list—I finally spoke with a psychiatrist who confirmed what I had long suspected: I do have ADHD. The realisation, while still sinking in, has brought immense clarity to my journey. Fuelled by this newfound understanding and armed with an MSc in Mental Health, I am back with renewed vigour and ready to empower others to overcome challenges, embrace fulfilment, and thrive.

I work with a diverse range of clients, including those struggling with ADHD (including self-diagnosed), menopause, anxiety, Type 2 diabetes, burnout, and negative thought patterns.

I've Been There

I understand what it means to struggle.

From a young age, I grappled with low confidence and anxiety, always seeking ways to "fix" myself. In my mid-20s, I developed persistent stomach issues, leading to years of doctor appointments and blood tests before finally being referred to a specialist. Their advice? Keep a food diary and eliminate certain food groups like dairy and gluten. I started with dairy, and although the adjustment was tough, I noticed improvements within days—bringing relief, but not a complete solution.

Traditional treatments from my GP only masked the symptoms rather than addressing the root cause. The real breakthrough came when I shifted my perspective. I had always been told what not to do, what foods to avoid—but no one ever gave me alternatives. Determined to find answers, I studied Nutritional Therapy to fully understand my body and empower myself with solutions rather than limitations. This knowledge not only helped me heal but also enabled me to create a programme that has transformed the lives of many facing similar struggles.

I am late-diagnosed with ADHD, after waiting for just over three years on the NHS waiting list for an ADHD diagnosis - something I always sensed about myself but never pursued until the challenges of menopause brought it to the forefront.

Now, I use my journey to support others, helping them break free from limiting beliefs and become the best versions of themselves.
